Dear Dad

I was looking for some papers and come a cross a letter i wrote my dad .

" Dear Dad
I miss you and love you. How are you doing? I'm OK I guess. I'm going to get married next summer in Va Beach; do you think you're going to be able to come down? It will be on a Saturday. I would like to have it on the beach and then have the reception in a hotel. Well I'm telling you now so you have time to save the money so you can come. This is something you can't miss OK. This is one thing you have to be there for."


My dad never got the letter b/c i never sent it. I did get married in TN and not VA but i was going to try to get married in VA at first. I read this and was sad b/c I know my dad would have been there. He missed out on so much when we were growing up. As a young women my dad and I started to get close just in time for him to die. God really knew how to do it. I miss him. Fathers day is coming soon and it will be another year with out him here. I love you daddy.
